This is a rare opportunity to hear legendary composer and sound-architect Ron Geesin in conversation with ornithologist Peter Holden, who recently wrote the wonderful text, A Song for Summer to coincide with our new commission by Ron Geesin, Blackbird Quadralogue, currently showing at the De La Warr Pavilion.

Ron Geesin is probably best known for his relationship with Pink Floyd, as the orchestrator of their 1970 album Atom Heart Mother.

Peter Holden MBE joined the RSPB staff in 1969. From 1994-5 he joined Bill Oddie in the BBC1 series Bird in the Nest and has contributed to Springwatch. He has written more than a dozen books on birds.
